To use ThredUP:
- Order a Clean Out Kit: Visit ThredUP's website and request a Clean Out Kit. This kit includes a bag with a prepaid shipping label for you to fill with your items.
- Fill the Bag: Gather your gently used, high-quality clothing, shoes, and accessories that meet ThredUP's acceptance criteria. Check their website for guidelines on what they currently accept.
- Send It Off: Seal your bag and drop it off at a USPS or FedEx location, or schedule a pickup. Shipping is free.
- Wait for Processing: Once your bag reaches ThredUP, their team will sort through your items, decide what can be sold, and responsibly recycle or return the rest (depending on the Clean Out option you chose).
- Earn and Shop: If your items are accepted, you'll earn shopping credit, cash, or the option to donate your earnings. You can use the credit to shop on ThredUP or withdraw your earnings based on ThredUP's payout options.
